A Hammerhead and a Gator Shuttle dock with a Police outpost. The partial ring is used for prisoner cells and contraband storage. Control systems are located in the upper windowed segment, living facilities in the large section, and crew and guest quarters in the lower pods..

So, is this a spinning station, or is there any particular reason for the ring shape?

Korvadyne is known for being inexpensive; to that end, they cut every corner they can. No, the station doesn't spin, but instead uses tried and true manufacturing facilities that other companies have abandoned as antiquated (and thus sold to them dirt cheap). So as much prefabrication as possible goes into their designs, and that means they have sections that are rings..

I see, so they snagged old designs off the net, applied modern artificial gravity to it all, and hired some fresh college grads to figure out how to keep it all from falling apart.

Sounds like a winner to me.

Thanks. I just do a series of filters in Photoshop CS2 to postwork a standard DAZStudio 2.3 render. Also I use a mask to create an outline of the primary figures.
