Description
Someone brought up accommodations in their Palladium Fantasy RPG campaign for Centaurs so I threw this image together to show just how big they are.. Not a whole lot of horse stables or even human inns that can provide for a creature of this size.. The chart behind them is a 10ft high scale.
For scale that is an Elf Longbow Man in front.
EDIT: My bad, I didn't have Monster & Animals handy when I put this together based on the stats in the RIFTS Conversion Book; in Palladium Fantasy they actually only average 7-8 feet tall, so much closer to human. I'll amend this image after lunch.
EDIT 2: The Centaur on the left is from RIFTS, the Centaur on the right is from Palladium Fantasy.
I will point out that while the RIFTS Conversion book does specify '11ft at the top of the head", Monsters & Animals does not specify what part of the Centaur is measured as being 7-8ft tall.. In normal horse measurements the shoulder is where you measure to, and if you look at the 11ft tall Centaur, it's horse shoulder is about 7ft high...

It's always interesting to put these things into perspective. The Palladium art isn't always reliable for such things, such as the varying heights of the giants in the Nimiro Kingdom book. Maybe someday, someone will get around to posting the various races in a "to-scale" drawing, like they had in the First Edition book.
