Kodan Shuttle 01

The Kodan Shuttle is a great compromise between size, cargo capacity and living space. It's cargo-hold is often packed tight from floor to ceiling, front to back, allowing it's owners to maximize profit on every run, and it's living space, while somewhat small, takes full advantage of the space it has to provide comfortable living for up to six crew members. It's command deck has two tiers, one for the pilot and co-pilot, and another for navigation and engineering, although all systems can be handled by a single pilot in a pinch. It's single defense turret can be controlled from the bridge or for more accuracy, there is an interactive control station positioned under it with a large view port at the rear of the ship for manual targeting.

Most notable is it's in-flight refueling system; matter scoops on either side collect particles from appropriate sources (such as nebula or gas giant planets), distill the necessary components for engine use and expel the excess matter out the back. With this system and the right course, the Kodan Shuttle can make much longer trips than most any other ship if it's size.
